Family with 5 small children face possibility of losing our home. Husbands construction business is failing and we need a financial miracle. Please pray:
-kids maintain a sense of safety and security
-our marriage
-husband embraces his role as spiritual and financial leader
-that we are able to maintain an attitude of thankfulness regardless of the outcome
-my husband would find favor with those who need work done
-financial miracle as God sees fit to provide one.
Thank you for your prayers. I hope you can remember us for the next month even though I'm sure you have plenty of people to pray for.

Lord, I lift my daughter Elizabeth up to you. She is working on her Masters Degree in Rehabilitative Counselilng with an emphasis in pediatric brain injuries and disabilites. She is in a city and part of the country where she has never been before. She does not know anyone. Money is extremely tight. Lord, give her renewed energy to make it through the program and work. Provide better job opportunities for her while she is in school. She is my emotional child. Lord, hold her in the palm of your hands and guide and comfort her and be with her. She is homesick and misses her friends. With the holidays coming up she is really struggling. Please, Please lift her up in prayer.

Prayer for Judy Nurkkala's Family

Judy asks for prayers for her sister Peggy.
Peggy has MS, has recently had kidney stones and her gall bladder removed. She is also to receive treatment for elevated calcium levels in her blood.
Peggy’s husband, David, has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer in his face and in the glands in his neck. He will begin treatment this week. They will be moving to live with their son, David, in Madison, WI for the duration of the treatment.
Also, David’s sister is in the end stages of terminal cancer. David will have the opportunity to travel to visit her before his own treatment begins. They expect that this will be the last time they see each other this side of Heaven.
Judy & Paul have committed to helping financially, so pray for them as well, that they are able to contribute well, where needs arise.
One of Judy’s comments was about how much a single person could take. This family is certainly walking through the valley of the shadow of death. Please pray for them.

David Anderson’s sister Lilly Dahl Passed away yesterday. Please pray for peace and comfort for Dave and the rest of her family during this time of grief.
Mel Christenson’s test results from Tuesday showed some areas have metastasized. Treatment was started yesterday and it is expected to be very successful.
Mel and Ardith ask for continued prayer that the treatment will be successful and they thank everyone for their prayers and concern.

The visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5-8pm. and the service will be Wednesday, May 16 at 11 am preceded by a visitation at 10am. Please keep Cindy and her family in your prayers as they grieve the loss of her mother.

JJ Johnson’s father, Larry, suffered a heart attack on Wednesday evening. He has had an angioplasty and a stent was put in place and is now under observation in the hospital. Pray for full healing for Larry, remembering his wife, Diane, as well as JJ, Kelly, and their family.

Beth Thorpe, sister of Sharon McKernan, would like to thank each of you for the prayers on her behalf. The cancer was contained and no further treatment is required. Thanks be to God!
Mabel Smith will be having knee replacement surgery on Thursday morning at Abbott NW hospital. Please pray for wisdom for the doctors, a successful surgery, and a quick recovery for Mabel.
Prayer is requested for Lisa Steward’s father, Ron Melick, who has an infection and is currently in AZ. Pray for a quick diagnosis, that the medication will work, and peace and patience for Ron while waiting to return home.

Dear church friends,
Yesterday my mom (Mary Person) broke her foot at work. After her co-workers encouraging her to go to the emergency room after she had the minor accident (stepped off one of the platforms funny), she had x-rays and one of the bones is definitely broken all the way through, not just a hairline fracture or something a bit more minor. So... she now has a temporary splint/cast and will go to an orthopaedic surgeon tomorrow (Wednesday) to find out what kind of cast she needs, how long, if she will need surgery to put pins in, etc.
As I understand, she isn't in too much pain, but that could've changed from last night when I talked to her. Please pray for comfort, peace of mind, and a positive outcome at the doctor tomorrow. Also, pray for my Dad as he helps her around during this time.

Dear Friends, We want to thank you so much for your continued prayers for our son Brian who is in the Minnesota National Guard and currently deployed in Iraq. As some of you know, he had his two week R&R in July and was able to spend 2 glorious weeks at home with his then 10 month old twins. Please continue to pray for his safety and that the next months will pass quickly. He will not be able to come home until his deployment is over (scheduled for March but we think it will be later than that). Please also pray that his family, wife Stephanie and twins, Nolan and Lucy will be sustained. The twins just celebrated their 1st birthday and Brian has been able to spend only 7 weeks of their life with them (including 2 weeks last Christmas and the 2 weeks this summer). We would appreciate any cards or letters that you might send him.
